(This) Allison is a Doctoral Researcher (high falutin formal term for ‘phd student’) and semi-retired Senior Software Engineer at Portland State University. She is advised by Dr. Wu-chang Feng. Allison holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. She is currently interested in fuzzing, symbolic execution, kernels, and fluffy silicon clouds.
She has previously worked for Signal Sciences, Mozilla, Amazon, Cisco, FactSet Research Systems, and Carnegie Mellon’s Biorobotics Laboratory.
Around Portland, she is the Lead for Women Who Code PDX Security Study Nights, on the OWASP PDX leadership team, current President/cofounder of the PSU CTF team void* vikings, captain/cofounder of the QQQ CTF team, a PDXWiT mentor, and a FIRST Robotics mentor.
In her free time, she pretends to have hobbies in textiles, metal, and infosec at ^H hackerspace.
